SEPROD FOUNDATION PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OVER 30 YEARS

At Seprod Foundation, we stand on three pillars – STEAM education, food security, and community upliftment. Our mission is to pioneer innovative programming that not only imparts knowledge but leaves a lasting impact on the lives of Jamaicans. With humility at our core, we are dedicated to lifting people, and ensuring our initiatives empower individuals and communities. Through STEAM education, we nurture problem-solving skills, believing that Jamaicans can solve Jamaican problems. By addressing food security challenges and fostering a sense of community, we aim to create a brighter, self-sustaining future for all, where education, nourishment, and community well-being thrive hand in hand.

Melanie Subratie
Melanie Subratie Chairperson
Melanie Subratie is Chairman and CEO of Stanley Motta Ltd, a company listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, responsible for developing over 230k sq ft of real estate from concept to completed construction, to a fully tenanted technology park. She is Vice Chairman of Musson (Ja) Ltd, a Director of all its subsidiaries, in addition to being Vice Chairman of General Accident, Eppley Ltd, and T. Geddes Grant. She is Chairman of Transaction E-Pins Ltd. and sits on the executive of Seprod Group of Companies and all of its subsidiary boards. Melanie chairs the Audit Committee for both Productive Business Solutions Ltd and Seprod Ltd. She is also the Chairman of the Musson Foundation, a founder and Chairperson of Jamaican Girls Coding, and Chairman of RISE Life Management Services.
Richard Pandohie
Richard Pandohie Board Member
Mr. Pandohie has been the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Seprod Limited since January, 2015. He has held managerial positions in several corporations in the Caribbean and Central America. He has been the Deputy President of the Jamaica Manufacturers Association (now the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association) since 2015 and a Director of Red Stripe Limited since 2016. He holds a MBA in Corporate Finance and Operations Management from the McGill University and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from The University of the West Indies.
Byron Thompson
Byron Thompson Board Member
Mr. Thompson is a former Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Seprod Group of Companies. He also sits on the Board of Seprod’s subsidiaries and Audit Committee. He is also a Director of Eppley Limited and the Salvation Army Advisory Board and a Council member of the Bureau of Standards. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Geology from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from Barry University, Florida, USA.
Maxim Rochester
Maxim Rochester Board Member
Mr. Rochester is a current member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica. He was also a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and played a significant role in the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards in Jamaica. Mr. Rochester was also a former Territory Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and was with the firm for 38 years. He has extensive experience in the Banking and Insurance Sectors with over thirty years experience in audit services and is quite knowledgeable in financial systems, regulatory environment and reporting requirements.
Patrick Scott
Patrick Scott Board Member
Patrick A. W Scott is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Facey Commodity Company Limited and the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Facey Group. Prior to these appointments, he served as Managing Director and as a Director of the company. A seasoned executive, Mr. Scott also sits on the main Boards of the Musson Group and was a key figure in the global development of Facey’s Telecom business. Additionally, during his tenure as General Manager of the Pharmaceutical Division of Facey Commodity Company Limited, he was instrumental in its strong and rapid growth.
