Volunteering with our Partners amid the Pandemic

On July 1st 2020, Seprod Foundation joined forces with the Musson Foundation and the C.B.Facey Foundation in volunteering to pack care packages at the central warehouse for the PSOJ COVID-19 Response Fund. The day was well spent contributing to the packing of 2,939 packages that were immediately deployed to the most vulnerable communities in St. Catherine.

We are so grateful for our awesome Seprod volunteers who helped in achieving a warehouse record, by packing the most packages that have ever been done in a day! The team of volunteers was happily joined by our Chair, Melanie Subratie and the Chair of the C.B. Facey Foundation, Stephen Facey who joined the assembly line helping to get more packages done.

Seprod Foundation is pleased to have partnered with the Musson Foundation and CBFF not only to get these packages packed and delivered, but to have contributed to the wider national collaborative effort that has been spearheaded by the PSOJ and the Council of Voluntary Social Services (CVSS) with the help of Jamaica Defense Force and the Jamaica Constabulary Force. “As charities we have to align to meet the greater good. Jamaica needs unity and combined work to help our citizens who have been affected by COVID-19 pandemic. This partnership shows that we are all stronger together, and every way we can individually help each other will eventually reap the benefits,” said Subratie.
