Seprod Foundation has partnered with the Denham Town High School on their recently developed school wide initiative called Remedial Intervention for Student Excellence. This is an ongoing 3 year intervention programme for students in grade 7 through 9 who are struggling academically and are below grade level in reading, comprehension and numeracy skills. Seprod Foundation has provided the food items to ensure that all of the participating students are able to get breakfast and lunch, so that they can focus on the programme which involves 3 hours of intensive reading instruction each morning. 84 students have benefited from this initiative, showing improvements in their literacy levels.
